What's happening
TS Light's The Tudor is a 45W static-white (4000K, CRI 80) gobo projector delivering 4,800 lumens for reliability-first applications like safety signage, warehouses and simple branding/logo projection. It drops DMX and framing shutters for cost-effective operation, offers an adjustable 20-40 or 25-50 zoom, 0-10V/Casambi/ELV/Triac dimming, 120V/277V input, IP20, BABA Buy America compliance and a 5-year warranty. It is positioned as a straightforward logo-projection alternative to entertainment-grade fixtures.
Why it matters for buyers
For a retailer, venue or signage buyer, the practical effect is simple: the unit that reads on your wall at your ambient light, with your artwork, beats the one with the bigger number on the box. Specification order — distance, image size, ambient, then brightness — decides the result.
It also changes lead-time risk. Custom gobos and certified outdoor builds need briefing before the date is fixed; the projector is rarely the long pole, the artwork and certification are.
The technical angle
Keystone correction belongs in the mount, not the software. Physically aim the projector square to the surface and you keep brightness even across the image; digital correction dims the corners to fake the geometry.
What to specify
Before you request a quote, lock these down:
- Ambient light level at the hour the projection must read
- MOQ and dispatch window before the event date
- Throw distance from bracket to surface, measured on site — not estimated
- Mounting surface and whether the bracket can hold aim
