What's happening
Bertin Lighting released a 200W-1000W wireless LOGO projector with a built-in LiFePO4 battery delivering up to 8 hours of continuous projection without mains power. It is IP65/IP67 optional with a rugged aluminium housing and accepts custom gobos for night markets, weddings, retail windows and building façades. The cordless design targets events and shop fronts where wall outlets are unavailable.
Why it matters for buyers
For a retailer, venue or signage buyer, the practical effect is simple: the unit that reads on your wall at your ambient light, with your artwork, beats the one with the bigger number on the box. Specification order — distance, image size, ambient, then brightness — decides the result.
It also changes lead-time risk. Custom gobos and certified outdoor builds need briefing before the date is fixed; the projector is rarely the long pole, the artwork and certification are.
The technical angle
Ingress protection is the spec that quietly decides lifespan. IP65 keeps rain and dust out of the body; IP67 adds temporary immersion tolerance for ground-level or wash-down locations. The rating only holds if the cable gland and gasket are seated — a loose gland defeats a higher number.
What to specify
Before you request a quote, lock these down:
- Gobo material: glass for longevity and colour, metal for cheap short runs
- Certifications required for the market (CE / RoHS / FCC)
- Throw distance from bracket to surface, measured on site — not estimated
- Ingress rating if it lives outdoors or gets washed down
