What's happening
Dongguan Ziyun Electronic Technology introduced a 400W customized gobo store-logo trademark projector for outdoor rotating advertising. Rated IP65 with OSRAM LED imaging, it throws 44,000 lm up to 50 m at night and supports remote control of rotation or stillness. The unit targets shop façades, events and campaigns with custom gobo patterns.
Why it matters for buyers
For a retailer, venue or signage buyer, the practical effect is simple: the unit that reads on your wall at your ambient light, with your artwork, beats the one with the bigger number on the box. Specification order — distance, image size, ambient, then brightness — decides the result.
It also changes lead-time risk. Custom gobos and certified outdoor builds need briefing before the date is fixed; the projector is rarely the long pole, the artwork and certification are.
The technical angle
Ingress protection is the spec that quietly decides lifespan. IP65 keeps rain and dust out of the body; IP67 adds temporary immersion tolerance for ground-level or wash-down locations. The rating only holds if the cable gland and gasket are seated — a loose gland defeats a higher number.
What to specify
Before you request a quote, lock these down:
- Gobo material: glass for longevity and colour, metal for cheap short runs
- Lead time on a custom gobo versus a stock pattern
- MOQ and dispatch window before the event date
- Mounting surface and whether the bracket can hold aim
