Conference Uses
The main stage backdrop is the hero: the event name or host logo projected large behind the speaker. In the foyer, a floor or wall mark orients delegates, and breakout rooms can carry the track name.
Because sessions change fast, a quick-swap gobo bay keeps the AV team ahead of the clock.

Syncing With the Programme
Load gobos in session order and give the operator a cue sheet. A static backdrop for the keynote, a title gobo for breaks, and a thank-you mark for the close keep the room on-message.
Brightness for Stages
Stages are lit but the backdrop is often dimmer; 50 W holds a clean mark, while a bright open stage may need 100 W. Confirm against the lighting plot.
Mistakes
- Backdrop too dim against stage lights.
- No cue sheet causing mismatched marks.
- Cold white clashing with warm set.
- Slow swap delaying a session start.
