Why output fades quietly
Maintenance on an advertising gobo projector is mostly about noticing. Because the loss is gradual, the comparison that matters is against how it looked on day one, not against how it looked last week. Take a reference photo at install and repeat it annually under the same conditions.

Cleaning the optics
Two rules prevent most damage: dry first, and touch nothing you do not have to. Inspect the gobo whenever the image quality changes. The half-yearly inspection
